Incident visibility reporting

A dated written report that reconstructs what was visible during a chosen incident window, including timeline, anomaly notes, and coverage gaps.

Who it is for

Security operations leads, incident coordinators, and risk owners who already hold logs, ticket exports, or packet summaries and need a readable account of what those records actually show.

What you receive

A bound-style PDF and print-ready pages covering the agreed window: a chronology, anomaly appendix, source inventory, and a short briefing script the coordinator can reuse with non-technical stakeholders.

Scope

We work from copies or exports the client provides. We do not connect to production networks, hold custody of assets, access private keys, or execute containment steps.

Who writes it

Host Managerhub reporting practitioners working from Jackson, Georgia, with remote document review as the default.

Process

  1. Window lock: the coordinator names the start and end of the period and the systems that matter.
  2. Handoff: sanitized logs, ticket CSVs, and notes arrive by the channel the office agrees on the call.
  3. Drafting: we reconstruct what the records show and mark every place the record is silent.
  4. Review: the coordinator receives a draft, marks factual corrections, and we issue the final pages.
  5. Briefing: a single session to read the chronology together and list follow-up questions the report cannot answer.

Duration

Most single-window reports take 8 to 12 business days after a complete handoff. Larger archives or poorly labeled exports extend the calendar.

Delivery

Document work is remote. An in-person briefing can be arranged at 140HammRd Jackson Georgia(GA) 30233 when travel is practical.

Preparation

Provide a time range, a list of systems, exports with original timestamps preserved, and a named reader who can correct facts. Strip secrets and private keys before sending anything.

Constraints

We cannot invent visibility that the records do not contain. Incomplete logging becomes a coverage-gap section, not a filled timeline.

Pricing basis

Quoted from window length, source volume, and whether a second draft cycle is required. See the rates page for starting figures.
