Cookie notice

Last updated 15 August 2026

Cookies and similar storage help a site remember a choice or measure visits. Host Managerhub uses a first-visit banner with Accept and Reject. Rejecting does not block pages, reports, or office details. This notice should be read with the Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small piece of data a site asks the browser to hold. This site also uses localStorage for the banner choice. Both are described in the table below as “cookies” for simplicity.

Types we use

Essential storage remembers whether you accepted or rejected the banner so it does not return every load. Analytics cookies, if any are later enabled after an Accept choice, would count page views in aggregate. Until such analytics are actually configured, an Accept choice only records consent; it does not load a third-party analytics script from this codebase.

Name Purpose Duration Provider
hostManagerhub_cookieConsent Stores Accept or Reject for the cookie banner Until the browser storage is cleared Host Managerhub (first party, localStorage)
_host_session (reserved) Essential hosting session if the host injects one; not set by site JavaScript Session Hosting provider
_hm_analytics (not loaded unless configured) Aggregate page-view counts after Accept Up to 12 months Host Managerhub or a named analytics processor if later enabled

How to manage or disable cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also clear site data in the browser. Browser controls can block cookies entirely; essential banner memory may then reappear on each visit.

Third-party cookies

Embedded typefaces are requested from Google Fonts. That request may allow Google to see the network address of the visitor. We do not embed social pixels. Images loaded from Unsplash are third-party requests for pictures only.

Impact of disabling

Disabling optional analytics has no effect on reading reports, rates, or contact details. Blocking all storage may cause the banner to show again. The site remains usable.
